BABY TREVOR
The operation was the most enormous success – almost more than we could ever have hoped for. The surgeon, Professor Pretre, was extremely happy with the outcome of the operation and the speed with which Trevor recovered from the procedure. During the operation he repaired two holes in the heart and separated two heart valves that had merged into one.
Since the operation (29th September) Trevor has gained 1.5kg in weight and continues to thrive. He now has a healthy appetite and is alert and happy. Due to his weight increase he is now able to have his immunisations that he was considered too weak to have when aged 14 weeks.
Whilst in Monaco Trevor and Rahab were beautifully cared for, primarily by Georges and Beatrice Gennaoui, as well as many members of the Order of Malta in Monte Carlo and their friends and families. Rahab was overwhelmed by the care and support they received, giving true witness to the international Christian family of the Order of Malta.
