Baby Trevor and Baby Faith

Very sadly we report the death of Baby Faith on 11th December 2012. She had seemed very well in early December when Alice Murphy visited her at home to wish the family a Happy Christmas. However, just a week later she was admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties and a chest infection and died whilst there.

H.E. Prince Augusto Ruffo Di Calabria

In October 2012 the Sovereign Council of the Order of Malta appointed Prince Augusto Ruffo di Calabria as the next Ambassador to Kenya. He becomes just the second Ambassador of the Order to Kenya, following in the footsteps of Count Gianfranco Cicogna Mozzoni.
The Kenyan Government approved the appointment in January 2013 and Ambassador Ruffo arrived for his first visit to Kenya in mid February.
He presented his credentials to President Mwai Kibaki on Friday 15th February 2013 at a ceremony at Statehouse, Nairobi.

Primary School Hygiene Project

The second round of distribution of sanitary products for girls took place at Gitiba Primary School in early February. A total of 17 girls received the kits and their parents were also invited to attend a session in order to be involved in the project.
